This beautiful, original artwork was drawn in charcoal on heavyweight A4 size paper.
 
It is from the "Paper Series" of work. This piece, Ispiration, was created in tandem with the piece "Anticipation". They were a set of two artworks I designed to be displayed together. Inspiration contains some words inspired by the artist Edward Hopper, who is quoted as saying "If you could say it in words, there would be no reason to paint". I wanted to express this feeling that sometimes words or a love note or even poetry are not enough to express my feelings, and so I took it one step further and also drew the paper on which I would write my feelings down.
