This beautiful, original artwork was drawn in charcoal on heavyweight A4 size paper.
 
It is from the "Paper Series" of work. This piece, Anticipation, was created in tandem with the piece "Inspiration". They were a set of two artworks I designed to be displayed together. Anticipation, as the name suggests, aims to evoke a feeling of suspense and intrigue. When drawing this, I was thinking of the kind of note that would be passed around secretly at the back of a classroom or similar.  I was hoping to capture the feeling of wonder at what it would say.
